He is the owner and principal of Riggs & Associates, CPA, PA, a respected tax and accounting firm he founded and has successfully operated for 28 years. With a deep commitment to providing comprehensive tax services and financial consulting, Travis has built a reputation for delivering exceptional value to individuals and businesses alike.
Travis earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma in 1985. His career began with roles at some of the world’s most prominent companies, including Arthur Andersen, where he honed his expertise in tax, and Walmart, where he gained invaluable experience in corporate tax and finance. These foundational roles gave him a broad perspective on best practices and set the stage for his entrepreneurial success.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Travis is a passionate advocate for his community. He has dedicated many years of service to local non-profit organizations, holding leadership roles on several boards. Most notably, he served for 16 years on the Bentonville Public School Board, where he was instrumental in shaping educational policies and initiatives that benefited students and families in the region. Travis has also served on the boards of the Boys & Girls Club of Benton County and Sharing and Caring of Benton County, organizations focused on improving the lives of young people and families in need.
